SUNRIDER EUROPE INC. - WINNER OF „THE EXCELLENCE IN BUSINESS AWARD FOR 2005” granted by the Chamber of Commerce Tel-Aviv.

At the Chamber of Commerce's Year Summary Event, the "Chamber of Commerce Tel-Aviv Excellency Award in Business for the year 2005" was granted.

The award was given to companies that contributed significantly to the industry of Israel , to the principles of economic freedom, and to the community. The award committee, led by Aviyahu Been-Nun (Vice President of Chamber of Commerce Tel-Aviv and Chairman of UMI), chose from more than 5,000 companies that are members of the Chamber of Commerce. After hard deliberation, the award was given to the following companies: Sunrider, Agrexco (yearly estimated cycle of $550 million), Ikea Israel (yearly estimated cycle of $300 million), and Toy Village (yearly estimated cycle of over $100 million).

Sunrider, a company that manufactures nutritional supplements and nurturing products, was given the award for offering a special and unique marketing system that has allowed over 6,000 independent Distributors to build businesses without taking any financial risks and with minimal cost. In that, the committee members recognized that Sunrider promotes the principles of economic freedom.

Furthermore, Sunrider is sponsoring the Israeli delegation to the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

December 2004 > China decorates Dr.Tei Fu Chen as “Elite Outstanding Chinese”

In December 2004, China decorated Sunrider´s founder, Dr.Tei Fu Chen, with a highly prestigious honor for his outstanding performance in business.

A set of special stamps were created depicting Dr. Chen and his company. These were printed to provide a permanent reminder of Dr. Chen´s selection as an “Elite Outstanding Chinese” in the personalized stamp category of “Global Chinese Hall of Fame”. Dr. Chen is the first man in China ’s history to have been honoured with this award “while still alive”.
